I apologize to you, Lourdes. I am sorry for speaking without knowledge. I am sure that you and your husband have done everything humanly possible to keep your house...and now, need God to intervene. I rejoice at this small favor He has bestowed upon you for Christmas for the kids. May He stretch that dividend check to help you get what they need and something special that they each want.

I won't post much detail, but the realtor was very helpful and considerate, and things favorable to us are written into the contract. Now praying no one wants the house, which is entirely probable, since this neighborhood has drastically dropped in value over the past year and my city has one of the worst markets right now.

Just praising God

for all the prayers. The situation hasn't changed, but I feel the prayers of all you sisters in the Lord, because the cloud of despair that was over me has lifted. No matter what happens to the house, God is on His throne and He will take care of us. If we had nothing but Jesus, we have more than enough to begin again. :D

I am praying for you now with tears in my eyes. I am sorry for your struggles and your frustration. I know that the Lord is in control, but sometimes the hardest part is that unfortunately here on earth, we may never know his reasons for our trials. I am praying that He gives you peace and answers and many blessings. As a mother, our worry for our family can be overwhelming. Again, I am praying for peace and a non sale on your home!

Just wanted to keep all you wonderful praying ladies informed. The realtor let us know that a house like ours sold in our neighborhood for $37000 less than what we have ours listed for. We listed it at the price the lender told us. She is confident that at the current market, no one will want our house at the price it is listed for. She said she is PRAYING for us that our tax refund will be enough to pay what we need to pay to save our home. Our lawyer said we do everything humanly possible, but then leave it in THE LORD's hands. I am so thankful that the Lord has led us to believers to work with us-that is His favor. Also, according to the both of them, the lender LIED about something during the mediation, which is also to our favor. Lastly, if we decide NOT to keep this home, we recently learned about some beautiful lease-to-own homes in a better, more convenient area of our city, and after speaking to the owners, this is yet another option for us, so the LORD is definitely taking care of us; no matter what happens with THIS house, He will not leave us with no place to go. :)

I am so thankful that you are able to clearly see the Lord's hand in the midst of such a trial. Will keep praying that you will continue to experience His peace, presence and provision!
