Lynn...I wish I had seen your kids' paintings before we did ours...now I "get" the 4 lines. DUH! Oh well.

You are on the same Unit we are...only we are about one day behind you.

Rebecca & Lynn - It looks like we're going to end up on exactly the same units for a while. We are taking a little break this week so that I could help haul corn silege on the farm...and then a visit from Grandparents from Florida. I loved your breastplates. (Grant set his painted clay on the floor to dry in the sun...and it was stepped on by someone. Smoosh! Sooo, he remade squares out of construction paper for the final product.)

Lynn, it sounds like Noah is doing so well making connections in his learning. I love seeing that happen for my kids, too! The Proverbs activity with storytime in MY favorite of the week. To me it is just such a proof and reinforcement to the kids that the Bible truly does touch on ALL attitudes & actions of people. I bet Noah will LOVE Dragons of the Deep! It was a big favorite here!

Lourdes - I just have to tell you that we had a real life "Hero Tale" tonight. Grant loved that book last year, too, and tonight we were BLESSED to hear a dear missionary lady at our Bible Study. She had severe polio as a child, and was significantly crippled. She shared with JOY how she was confident in God's ordained plan for her life and how she was used by God in Indonesia translating much of the Bible into a tribal language before being forced to return to the States for health reasons. After about 10 minutes of listening to her, Grant leaned over to me and said, "Mom, this is just like reading about the missionaries in a book....only she's really here!!" He loved it! I'm so glad that we're able to be inspired by these men & women who gave their all for our Lord!
