Juli,

The ladies have done a great job of talking through possible options with you, and it sounds like you have a good plan in place that suits your goals. :D One thing I'll just mention is that you won't want to fatigue you or your child with too rigorous of a pace. So, while doubling up may work for awhile, it can also become wearing to do two lessons a day every day. I just wanted to mention this in case you begin to meet resistance, either from you or your child. If that happens, be sure to drop back to doing a day within a day, especially since your little sweetie is so young. Just a thought! :D

Blessings,
Carrie

Thanks Carrie. It has crossed my mind yesterday that there may be days when dd doesn't want to do 2 lessons, even though it still doesn't take too long. I'll make up a new schedule and see how that goes.

I'd just like to share what works for our family. We school 4 days per week. However, I like to complete the 5 days of each unit in those 4 days. Rather than double 2 whole units in 1 day I space it out a bit. For instance, on Mondays I double the storytime, on Tuesdays the Math, on Wednesdays the Language Arts, and on Thursdays the History and the related activity. This won't help you complete LHFHG by the end of May, but it may give you an idea for when you're having a difficult week. Enjoy the rest of LHFHG!
