We have had a wonderful year doing CTC. Just the other day when I mentioned the word "school" in a conversation, my 6th grade daughter groaned. I told her that I did not know why she responded with a groan because she is loving CTC and is very happy while schooling. She told me "Mom, I am a kid." "I should want to play more than do school." LOL
We are having the best year yet homeschooling because it is our first with HOD, but it will certainly not be our last. In fact, dd is already asking about next year.

Hey, Katherine!! :waving furiously:: It's Darci! :-) (mom2boys at GCM ;-) )

I would jump in and say....he's 8. :lol: My 8 (oops, my 9) hates everything! he hates math, he hates science, he hates baths, he hates his brother...you know. But when we are actually doing school, he seems pretty interested! lol! and if I really press him, he's going to say he doesn't really hate school. He just likes to be contrary right now. The olders have seemed to grow out of that stage, so I'm hoping for the same from him.
