Thank you so much everyone, I appreciate your prayers.
I had my appt. and the Dr. confirmed the lump. I have a mammogram appt. in 9 days to figure out the placement of the lump, and then it will be determined whether I will have a needle biosy or a surgical biopsy so that we can find out what we are dealing with. Not my idea of fun but, I have to see this through.
I know I will have a dificult time waiting for my appt. to arrive, it leaves a lot of time for pondering. The good news is that it also leaves a lot of time for praying so, I will use my time wisely.

Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord. Psalm 31:24
Be careful for nothing: but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:6-8
Peace, I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 14:27
Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. Psalm 27:14
Still Praying here,
Leah

Hi All,
I am good!
My Dr. called today with my blood results and all was fine with that. She was interested in checking my prolactin levels and my white blood cell count (and other things I am sure) and both were normal, so that's good. This doesn't clear me of any cancer worries, the mammogram will give a more detailed "picture" of what is going on and which direction to go next. If there is something suspicious that shows up with the mammogram (doing an ultrasound as well) then I will have to have a needle biopsy or a surgical biopsy depending on the location of the lump.
I am still remembering to look for the lessons and blessings daily, as I work through this and eventually arrive at a diagnosis.
I was telling two friends of mine that I have been blessed thus far by seeing my husband as a real helper and caretaker during this so far. I am so proud of him and impressed with his ability to help me keep a healthy focus right now. Between him and God, I think I am in pretty good hands.
Thanks again everyone for your thoughts, it's nice to be surrounded by women like all of you.

Thanks for keeping us updated Candice.
Do you have a history of cancer in your family?
I am so glad that your husband is being supportive and your faith is strong.
Blessings,
Terri

Just saw this now, Candice - I am praying, praying, praying for you. I needed a follow-up appointment after a mammo a year ago, and I know how hard it is to wait. I pray that the time will go quickly for you, and that the results will be good - I pray for God's strength guiding you through this. Praying...
Love,
Julie
