You could always get the extra practice book for 2B and do some of those activities with you dc. or just make up your own problems and continue to do the hands on activities till you feel confident that she can move on.

Than you place a sticky in the manual for math and go at her pace!

We are in Beyond and switched from Math-U-See Alpha to Singapore 1A/1B after about unit 15, so we had to play catch up. So we are in Unit 22 for math and Unit 27 for everything else and I just have a sticky note and take it easy. We are doing the extra practice book when we hit a little rough spot and camp there, mostly with the subtraction since Math-U-See did 'solve for the unknown' first and it confused him a bit. Now he gets it and we can move on!!!!

One more question though...I still want to "sit on the money" for a bit and move on in other areas. Should I skip the whole money section for now and hit the next topic or progress through the money section. The next lesson goes from figuring change for a dollar to change for $10! I don't think she's ready for that just yet! But, then I think she could do the adding money problems that are lined up like regular numbers to add.

I'd go through the lessons in order, and just do them with her, using it as a teaching time. She may soak up more than you think she might. I wouldn't linger longer with them, or keep doing more examples until she shows she's mastered it. I'd just do it, move on, and then if you want to add in some additional money practice in a fun way, you certainly can easily do that. She's so young, and she's a smart cookie. I know it will come!
