Val - I still think the original placement is probably the best - and I feel I need to base the placement advice on academics rather than economics, because correct academic placement is so important to how your year goes. I care about that - I want a wonderful year for you and for your dc, and I don't want to feel like I gave the wrong impression saying an alternate placement was as snug of a fit as what was really on my mind as the best suggestion. So, you really will know best because you know how heavily to weigh age, placement, combining/not combining and economics, but that is what is on my heart for you! :D Praying for you as you plan your year - may it be a wonderful one for you and your dc!
