I know my sister's husband saw a pulmonologist and that specialist called in a team of doctors with various other specialities to consult on the test results and biopsy.

My husband is home this morning and we were able to review the details. He went in for a physical and was suffering from a bad cough. They thought he might have pneumonia, but the x-rays revealed a scar on his lung. This then led the radiologist to think that he either had TB or a ruptured blood vessel. They did blood tests to rule out the TB along with a review of everywhere he's been to see if he might have contracted a virus in another locality and have scar tissue. Everything was quickly ruled out. There was no connection between the cough and the scar tissue. He's feeling fine and we are grateful.
