Do I need the 2A/2B Math workbooks?

Once you've already done the guide you pretty much know which books were consumed and therefore what you need to order. It's mostly just confusing when you are purchasing for the first time and have two children doing the same level. But it's not a bad idea for them to put which ones are workbooks/consumables and which aren't.
