It just seems like, in my mind that it would be easier in the long run to seperate them now since we just got started on this journey instead of trying to figure out later had to split them or change so much to make it easier for him. I have only been at this for 10-11 weeks, so I really don't know.
If you aren't sure, I wouldn't separate until you are. I tend to think if things are going well--keep going! You can always change paths down the road if needed. However, that is me. You are the mom. You know your family dynamics, the motor skills issues, etc. Disclaimer: I am a fan of combining. It is the only way I get everyone taught. I tried separating once, and it was overwhelming to me keeping track of everyone's stuff and switching from this time period to that one. Each family is different. Good luck deciding! I do still have to run 2 guides due to a large age range. I have my 5th, 6th and 9th (with extensions) in one and the K and 2nd in another. I also have a senior who has not used HOD.
