If I mix and match books though then I wouldn't be buying them in a "pack" with the discount, is that right?

True, I think you are allowed one substitution.

I think in the section of Beyond you are asking about there are 2 substitutions (Deluxe pkg) .... here is what the policy says ...

The following packages are allowed two title substitutions per package:

All Guides - Deluxe, Extension, and Science
Preparing Hearts, Creation to Christ, Resurrection to Reformation, Revival to Revolution, & Missions to Modern Marvels - Basic
Drawn into the Heart of Reading - Book Packs
Creation to Christ – Economy

You can find info for the whole substitution policy on the HOD website on the right side of the home page under See What's New - Enhanced Substitution Policies :D

I try to buy as many books as possible, my daughter likes to read books over and over! :shock: She especially likes reading the read-aloud books herself once I'm done reading them aloud. :D My husband has gotten used to the fact that I prefer buying to borrowing. Bless his heart. :D
