We just started back up this past week, and are once again cruising along with HOD. (I can't seem to find the time to sit down at the computer and post about our weeks yet on the week-in-review...but we are enjoying school and everyone is fed and clothed and the house is kinda clean...sometimes. )

I just have to say that I love our days and the time I get to spend with my kids in God's Word in their different guides! We're planning a break for a week starting Dec 22, and it looks like we'll be finishing Unit 17 in RTR, Unit 25 in Beyond, and Unit 11 in LHFHG (which appropriately is about Jesus' birth ). I have to say that I'm feeling extra blessed here to be the mom of not only a content baby but also a happy-go-lucky toddler. I am not taking this blessing for granted and thank the Lord every day for how smooth our days are going and how I really feel like I get to enjoy my kids at every stage they're in!! (My kids have NOT all been content babies and happy little toddlers, so I really FULLY understand the blessing this is at this point in our lives! )

On another note, anyone have any ideas for tackling Wal-Mart with a 1mo and a 15 mo?? I'm a little intimidated at the thought...although my hubby thinks this is fabulous-at least until we run out of food or toilet paper.

My 8 year old will finish Unit 16 in Bigger on Dec 16 and ds12 will finish unit 21 in RTR that same day.

We school year round....

Jayden is in week 32 in Bigger.... I had planned on finishing Bigger before Christmas, but decided to just stop and do some unit studies with all of them together in the next few weeks... plus we are going on vacation next week. This doesn't bother me too much because she's not 9 until the end of April.

Grace is in week 3 in Beyond.... I wanted her to get through week 5, but again, stopped

Julianna is on day 2 of LHFHG... we were going half speed and then stopped before Thanksgiving... same reasons, but I had planned on stopping then with her no matter where we were.
