HOD, you did it again!!!

Post by Molly » Fri Feb 24, 2012 12:42 pm

This is a special message to just let you all know, how awesome God is, and how awesome HOD is.

I had a fellow home school Mum visit me just the other day. i shared my joy of having found HOD and how wonderful it is. Well, it turns out she is a Charlotte Mason styled home schooler. I shared how wonderful it was that all the books I have looked at and thought about using, are used in HOD, and it is all laid out for me, and it all blends so well. She took home a spare catalogue to have a look through. I received a telephone call from her last night. She had been looking at the website and downloaded sample pages etc, and had even talked to Mike. Her husband, who had been away for the week, came home last night, and within half an hour of looking through the catalogue, had completely agreed with her that it was just the thing for their family. What joy she had in her voice, what a blessing God has for them and us. I am so excited because God has placed someone nearby who is following the same curriculum and with the same enthusiasm that I have for it. And the best thing is, she has many of the books already.

God is so great. He is just awesome. He has truely blessed you Carrie, with the ability to make home schooling such a joy and blessing for not only Mum's and Dad's, but for our children, who are going to receive such a fabulously Christ centred education. I look forward to our schooling years with joy, but I also now look forward to having our children prepared to go out into the world with the knowledge and skills that God wants them to have.

Great news! I recommend HOD a lot in person and online. Especially to moms like me who don't love to plan plan plan. :D

That is so wonderful! I have a feeling the Austin Family is going to be even busier very soon. I know of 5 moms right now who are considering HOD. I've realized that I don't even have to brag and gush about HOD....although I do. :D . It's my pure delight and contentment that the other mom's are seeing. I'm not out searching the "latest and greatest", I don't feel the need to attend every curriculum convention in our area, I'm not complaining that my dc are despising a certain subject. We are so blessed by HOD!!!!!

Ladies,

Thank you for your willingness to share HOD with others. :D We are humbled that you think enough of our products to share them with someone else. We pray regularly for the Lord to bring those to HOD who may be blessed by what we have to offer, as He knows each family's needs best. :D He is always faithful!

Blessings,
Carrie

Carrie, I can not help sharing with others, as it has been a true blessing to our family. An answer to much prayer. I truely believe those who are meant to use this wonderful program will be guided by the Lord, as my friend was. The reason I was most encouraged by this particular person choosing to use HOD, is because I've always admired the way she has home educated (very like the early years of HOD, but probably a little more academic), it was what I knew I could not do without having a complete meltdown daily, but HOD has truely given me everything to do what she has, and that is what she saw, a way to home educate the way we feel we should, but without the pressure of having to put it all together (I believe my friend was feeling overwhelmed at the thought of putting a program together each year as her children grew), yet knowing that everything we want for them is right there. It is truely truely remarkable the gift God has blessed you with. I pray often that God will continue to bless you and your family.

I believe with all my heart that this is the very best way HOD can be shared with others, Molly! :D I have had people ask me why I am so happy homeschooling, and it is easy to answer because of the Lord's leading and my use of HOD. This is the way God is spreading the new about HOD, and it is exciting to be a part of it! You are a living testimony of the joy it can bring! :D
