Prayer over HOD and HOD families

I notice this time of year is when hsers tend to be discontent. There seems to be a pattern. There is a mixture of some being really excited about what they found and others questioning if what they found will make them as happy as someone else is with their choice. And I notice a trend every time HOD releases a new guide the enemy seems to be working over time. So asking if you would join me in praying for HOD that God would keep the enemy away from the hsers that are led to use it and those who continue to use it. And most importantly that He would put a hedge of protection around those involved in making HOD and that those meant to use HOD will not be led astray from using it if that is God's will for them. Thanks!

Praying that our Heavenly Father binds "the Enemy", "the Father of Lies" who "roams the earth" "seeking to devour". We, who call on our LORD, in Jesus' name, have the power to pray this over our families and our friends. Asking God to encourage those parents who often go against the cultural grain as they seek to raise up Godly children, in the Fear and Admonition of the Lord, are able to do so with strength and courage. Praying for contentment over HOD families as they begin their year and for Carrie & Julie's family as they tirelessly tackle the next guide. Praying that God will be glorified through this curricula and through it's users. Praying that parent's will be challenged to seek the Lord moment by moment as they spend precious time with their children, that they might be calm, meek in spirit, humble, loving, and without anger or resentment as they model God's great love to their children. Amen

water2wine, thank you for starting this thread, I came on the board thinking of starting a new thread of encouragement to HOD and the Mom's here on the board, but what is better than to call together a prayer meeting! PTL
I have been praying the last week as well and this scripture keeps coming to me for Carrie and her family.
Gal 6:9 Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.

What a blessing to have a Christ centered curriculum as HOD, more than that it is such a tremendous blessing to have this board where you get such encouragement, wisdom and such good instruction in helping your children reach their potential as you homeschool them.

I will continue to pray that we as Mom's will take full responsibility for teaching our children and put our trust in the Lord to guide us. That the enemy will not bring discouragement to us as Mom's, not at home using HOD and not by threads started here on the board.

In agreement on all points mentioned! I, too, have noticed the same thing. I think of what a wise lady told me once (and I've heard it many times since then too), was that "if a Christian (or ministry) is not being heavily pursued by the enemy, they may want to examine their goals, methods, or above all, their hearts". Where the attack is greatest is where Satan feels the most threatened. We certainly need to pray a hedge of protection, as only the Spirit can effectively fight this kind of battle.
