Thank you ladies for all your prayers, they mean so much to me.

In the first round of results, only anemia has come back. There are still some results we haven't heard back from and the CF (cystic fibrosis) sweat test still hasn't been scheduled (this is the one our pediatrician seems the most concerned about).

I am just emotionally exhuasted right now. I am trying to listen to my father who keeps telling me "not to worry until I KNOW I have something to worry about". He is very right, but that is just so much easier said than done ya know?

Anyway, I really covet your prayers for my little man and our family. THank you.

I'm sorry it is taking so long to get different results back and tests done. :( It's so hard when it is our babies going through things. My ds20mon. was diagnosed with FTT when he turned 1, however his case isn't as severe. He's still not on the charts yet, but doing better. You've been on my heart a lot and I will continue to pray.

I have a nephew that lives in town that has CF. I know it is scary to think of your child having a disease, but there is a lot that is being done for CF now, so it's not as bleak as it seems. If the sweat test does come back positive, I could put you in touch with my sister-in-law. She is a solid Christian and would be more than happy to encourage you, pray with you and just be there for you.

God sees you and little Caleb and will do what is best for all of you. Though you may not understand, you can lean on His great love and trust that the Lord will carry through. You are not alone! Caleb is not alone! God has a big shoulder and doesn't mind His children crying on it! He holds all our tears in His bottle.

Keep pressing into God and find rest for your weary soul. You are loved!!

My heart breaks for you and all that you are going through. I will continue to pray. I did want to encourage you that CF does sound scary, but it isn't as awful now as it used to be. There are a lot of treatments available and many times the disease can be fairly mild. I have a close friend here whose daughter has CF. She's 9 now and the healthiest child amongst our group of friends. The only way you would know she has CF is if they told you. She is smaller than her peers and eats like crazy, but other than that she is completely normal. I hope that encourages you and that you continue to receive good news. :D

So far all the tests have come back normal. He sweat test for the cystic fibrosis is coming up on Tuesday the 22nd. The good thing about that, is there is no waiting on that result. We get it before we leave the office. Thank you for all your continued prayers!

That is wonderful news that so far everything is turning out normal! PTL! I'm glad that you won't have to wait to find out the results of the CF test. I'll be waiting to hear and will continue to pray.

Heavenly Father,

I come to you tonight asking for your healing hand upon this little child. God, the parents and doctors are confused about what is going on, but you aren't. Lord, I just ask that you give those doctors wisdom so that they may heal his little body. This family needs your peace right now, Oh God. Please wrap them in your arms and comfort them as only You can.

In Jesus sweet name, I pray,

Amen.

I will definitely be praying for your little guy.

I just wanted to share though - our little girl started out in the 80th % and then dropped completely off the charts around the same age - 6 months. We did tests for everything and we never could figure out much. They decided that she has some sort of immune system issues (I used to know the name but have since forgotten what it was  ) but that wouldn't have made her not gain weight and even lose it. She was eating like a horse just after she turned one and still weighed 17 pounds at around 18 months. They had no idea what was going on. So anyway.... all that is to say that now she is in the 50th % (I still don't know how!!) and a super healthy 3 year old girl. I just wanted to offer you some encouragement since I've been there.

It is so scary waiting. I'm praying that they find out what is going on quickly and praying for God's healing for whatever it is.

PRAISE GOD!!!!! The cystic fibrosis test came back negative! \o/

I am beside myself giddy right now. I'm exhauseted too from the roller coaster of emotions, but I should at least be able to sleep well tonight. :D

I haven't spoken to his pediatrician yet since the test this morning, so I'm not sure if there will be any other tests. And when he was weighed this morning, Caleb had gained 6oz since his last weight check 2 weeks ago.

Thank you all SOOOO much for prayer.

GOD IS GOOD!!!!
