I am praying as well - thank you Brenda for starting this! Also praying now for Cindy and Kathleen, for your dd!
I just prayed a very long prayer at lunch with our sons, and when we finished my toddler gave an exasperated "Amen" like "That was long, Mom!".

I'm sure it did feel long to a 2 yo, but we have a lot to pray for right now.
I told my dc this story after that: My grandma (my mom's mom) was totally blind, and as she got older she would sometimes get lost in her house, or be crawling on her hands and knees to find her way. This broke my mom's heart, but my grandpa was usually there to help and they longed to stay in their home together as long as possible. One day when my mom went to visit her, she found my grandma on her knees on the floor. She rushed to help her up and could see her knees were very red, and she'd been there a long time. When my mom asked her how long she'd been there, she said "an hour and a half". My mom hugged her and said, "Mom, I'm so sorry I wasn't here earlier to help you!" My grandma said, "Oh Marlene, I was praying! One thing you'll find... the older you get, the more there is to pray for, and that hour and a half just flew by." '
Isn't that true? Thank you for being prayer warriors here. It is such an important thing to do, and there is always so much to pray for. I'm glad to be in the company of ladies such as yourselves as we pray.
In Christ,
Julie
