Just thought I would reintroduce myself as I havent been here in well over a year (or longer?)!
Anyways, my name is Amber and I used CTC with my then 5th grader (now going into 7th!) during the 2009/2010 school year, but decided to go another route with him last year for several reasons. None of them being that HOD wasnt a good curricula..just not a good fit for that particular child at that particular time
Anyways, so here I am, a prodigal HODie
I now have a 1st grader who I have been eagerly waiting to do LHFHG with(but knew she wasnt ready for it last year in K), as well as a soon to be 4 yr old (in Oct) and an almost 20 month old (who was diagnosed with JRA several months ago). I am excited about our new school year and coming back to HOD so I thought I would say HI
