Hi!

I bought the extension package (the history reading books) for my son. Should he do the Independent History Study books/assignments AS WELL AS the extension package reading schedule, or should that be in lieu of the independent history assignments?

I had the same question as well. The answer I received was that the value of the extensions package was the history reading at the higher level (6th grade in our case), but the value of the Independent History Study was the notebooking assignments (which include both writing and drawing). It was recommended to me to do both, and now that I have the manual and have looked it over, I can say that it seems like good advice.
