I just looked up my PHFHG schedule I used with Wyatt a few years back, and this was the order we used...
"Dictation" at dining room table with me
"Bible study" on couch with me
"Bible Music" in kitchen by CD player with me
"R & S English" at dining room table with me
30 minute play break with little brother in playroom
"Reading about History" and "Storytime" box with me on couch
Rotating box for history at dining room table (Research, Vocab., Geography, or Timeline) starts with me, finishes on own
"History Project" in kitchen or at dining room table, starts with me, finishes on own
"Independent History Study" box wherever he wants, on his own, if dawdling - I pick place and set timer
"Math" teacher portion at dining room table with me, oversee independent portion to be sure he's getting it, help him by doing example again from lesson alongside him if he's confused
"DITHOR" or "Creative Writing" lesson, at couch and then at dining room table, with me first, independently finish
"Science" box independently, read on couch, experiment in kitchen, seatwork in dining room
"Poetry" with all at lunch at table
I liked having the LA portions separated, doing some first, some in the middle, and some at end. I liked him having a short play break in his morning, and his younger brother liked it too. I also liked having all of the history plans done in a row, as it helped my ds make meaningful connections. I liked having him end with finishing out his DITHOR/writing and his science so I could get lunch together, and then we enjoyed at that stage in our lives doing poetry all together during lunch. These are just ideas, but maybe they can act as a sounding board for you as you plan your day. Here is a link with the time allotments for PHFHG too:
PHFHG time it takes:

I always start with the time allotments and then make an order of the boxes along with time increments. I hope something her helps! Have fun setting up your routine!
In Christ,
Julie
