Order is in for Bigger, LHTH, LHFHG!!

Finally, after months of consideration and learning how HOD works, our order is in for our 9,7,5 and 4 year old children. This curriculum is an answer to prayer and I am praying that we have a fulfilling and joyful year of homeschooling for us all. Thanks to all of you who have helped me work through questions and concerns! I can't wait for school to start in August!!! Now all I need is to figure out how to schedule the days for each of us!

You are in for a great year! Just be prepared for Box Day. Your kids are going to want to dive right in, and you are just going to want to "shooooo" them away so you can peruse all your new books! HOD box days are so.much.fun!!

We're also doing LHTH, LHFHG and Bigger this year I originally only ordered Bigger and something else for the younger one but I had no peace! Once I placed that order for the younger ones I felt complete contentment! We won't be able to start until September but I am having quite a time trying to keep the kids out of next year's books. I won't even tell you where I found one of the Emerging Readers today .

Will you be doing DITHOR? I've looked through everything and the workload looks easily doable but it is the 1 yr old BUSY BOY that had me concerned...

Thanks for the encouragement! Sounds like we will be in the same situation this year....looking forward to learning alongside you.

As for DITHOR, I did decide to purchase it along with the level 2/3 wb and level 3 books. My daughter enjoys reading and that is something I look forward to doing "alone" with her without the involvement of the other kids! I am hoping it will be doable with everything else we will have to do!

I am so excited for you! We pray the Lord will richly bless your year. We'll be doing the end of LHTH and staring LHFHG with our youngest and doing Bigger with our next little guy too. We'll enjoy sharing the journey with you. We'll also get to do Rev2Rev and high school, so we're excited about our year too!

Thank you for welcoming us to HOD. I am so, so thrilled to be using this curriculum. I have unloaded my boxes, organized our school shelves and have begun ready the manuals in preparation for school next month. What a blessing this material will be to our family- it truly is exactly what we were praying for. I praise God for your teaching insight and experience and the wisdom He has given you to create these resources for HS families; may God's wisdom and insight continue to be upon your ministry.

I am looking forward to journeying alongside the other HOD families this year and learning alongside my children.

Hooray for box day, Bonnie! We did 3 HOD guides last year, and had a great year! The schedule's thread is a gold mine of ideas for setting up your school day, so I'll link it here...

I did LHTH and BHFHG (and RTR) last year, so you'll have a somewhat similar year as I did. My schedule is on the last page of the above link (page 9) under my3sons, in case something there can help. Have fun getting all those amazing books and planning your routine!
