Hello everyone!

Post by GinainMD » Fri Jul 08, 2011 10:58 am

I just wanted to pop in and say that I've really missed chatting with you all here. My hubby was involved in an accident a bit over a month ago and so I've been busy taking care of him. He is recovering well at home now but he has a severe case of cabin fever. Anyway, we are still moving along in Beyond even though we are a bit behind schedule now. HOD has really been a blessing during this time even though we were unable to do everything every day. We are getting back up to speed now and dh loves to put in his two cents during school time. I believe that God has taken a difficult situation and turned it into a blessing. My dds are just loving having daddy home because he is usually so busy with work. I am still hoping to move my two oldest dds on to Bigger in the fall so please pray that we will be able to finish Beyond on time. I look forward to being able to spend a little time here now that things have settled down a bit.

Gina - it is so good to hear from you! :D I am sorry your dh was in an accident. Your response of choosing to look for the good in a seemingly bad situation reminds me of my Savior, Jesus. I am glad you have been able to find the good in a situation that is difficult. I am also glad HOD has been there to help you through the difficulty of homeschooling at this time. I have used HOD on complete bedrest several times over, and been so very thankful for its ease of use, its no prep format, and the joy it can bring to even a somewhat difficult situation. It's good to have you back, Gina, you were missed. :D

In Christ,

Great to hear from you, Gina! I'm glad to hear that this difficult situation has turned into a blessing. Reminds me, too, of Joseph telling his brothers that what they meant for evil, God meant for good! Keep plugging along; you're in no hurry!
