Today is box day for me. The anticipation of receiving the 26+ pound of books was crazy! I loved opening that box and holding each of the books in my hand.

I ordered Preparing for my oldest son. I am so excited to start even though we won't be starting right away. One of the many things that I love about HOD is that I am able to reuse so much of it. The bulk of what I ordered was for my oldest child. Besides the consumables, I am reusing everything with my other two school-aged children.

I will be running 3 guides next year, but had to spend most of the money on the new curriculum. I LOVE that!

Now the fun of organizing my school room begins!!!

I got my box today too and spent the afternoon going through all of it. So much fun! Nicole kept trying to take off with the science books and one of the extension books I got. Have fun organizing!

Have fun organizing. I know what you mean. My middle child is reusing Bigger hearts this year and I just have to order for my older child...

We recently had box day at our house too! No matter how many box days you have experienced, it is always So.Much.Fun!!

Break out the coffee and chocolates! Box day has come - what a treat! My dh is impressed by how we are able to reuse our HOD things too. Three times for each guide - with just a few consumables = big savings. We've learned to look at the long term, and it's paid off. You may need to hide your PHFHG guide... or I sense an early start coming.

I am so excited that you have your box of books in hand! We pray you will enjoy your year with HOD and that it may be a blessing to your family! I agree that it is wonderful to be able to reuse with the next kiddos coming up. Who ever grows weary of great books!?! I feel hugely blessed to just be able to pull out my guides and books for my younger kiddos without all the worry of "What will I do with them next year?" I have enough stress with that with my older child!
