Rod & Staff 5 Full Speed for RtR (8th Grader)

RtR is written for a 4 day week, but I believe Rod and Staff is a 5 day a week program. So, how should I schedule R&S? Do I double up one day a week?
I'd take it at half speed as written, but my son will be in 8th grade, and hasn't had alot of former grammar. And, this is what Carrie and Julie have recommended for us. I just wasn't thinking about RtR being 4 days and R&S being a 5 day week.
Suggestions please?
Thanks!

Dena,
You can actually finish Rod and Staff 5 doing it just 4 days a week, as we schedule it this way in Rev2Rev. English 5 has 119 lessons, so we also split most of the reviews over 2 days and split some of the longer writing assignments over 2 days.
Blessings,
Carrie

I found a schedule for R&S 5 online last year (I did not realize it was scheduled to be completed in RTR as we used it in CTC) and it took us through the whole book in 180 days (which is our required time). We did do it 5 days per week, though. It allowed for 2 days on the writing, but only one on reviews. Looking back, it sounds like you maybe should buy the RTR guide and go by it for the lessons. I really wish we had split the reviews into two days. Sometimes they were way too much for my ds.
Hope you have a great year!
