LHFHG book detail questions

I have been delving into the catalog and researching the books for LHFHG online and I have a couple of questions.

I saw that History for Little Pilgrims also has a teacher edition and a coloring book. Was wondering the wisdom of purchasing either of the additional books. Does anyone know what extra information I would get by having the teacher edition on top of the HOD curriculum? Is the coloring book worth purchasing?

I am thinking of getting the Reason for Handwriting A for my Tabitha when we get around to ordering (she will be 5). I have read the reviews of level K over at Amazon and realized Tabitha is already getting lots of handwriting practice in her Brain Quest workbooks. Seems the K will be unnecessary for her.

I saw in the catalog that the Earlybird Kindergarten is going out of print. Does anyone know how much longer they will be available? If we don't order til March as planned and this isn't available anymore, what will be the Kindergarten choice? Wondering how it will affect the LHFHG guide.

Thank you for your time

We did LHFHG this past year. I have the teacher's guide and the coloring book for History for Little Pilgrims. I never opened the teaching guide up so can't say if it would be useful or not. :) The coloring book was kinda fun to have, but we really didn't use it much. It has the artwork from the textbook in there, but the textbook has much more pictures than art so there aren't that many pages in there to coordinate.

I don't know how long Earlybird Kindergarten will be in print, but I'm sure Carrie will recommend something great and have an update ready for us to use whenever it is no longer available. She does such an awesome job that I know that be taken care of when it's time.

My children loved the coloring book, they would color away while I read the history lesson to them. They were bummed on the days there was no matching coloring page. I never had the teachers book.

So the coloring book is nice to have but not necessary. So knowing me I will get it. Would love to hear any more input on either book.
Thanks

I will be doing LHFHG in the fall with my DD. I purchased both the TM and the coloring book for the History for Little Pilgrims. I can say that the way my DD loves to color, that the coloring book will be a hit. I haven't decided yet if the TM will add anything or not, but from the looks of it, I may glean an idea or two. :P

The earlybird math books for LHFHG will continue to be printed for HOD due to their great relationship with the company. So no need to worry about that!

Wow, didn't know they were still printed them. I already grabbed them for the one year old so I wouldn't have to worry about it.
