Take Advantage of HOD's New Substitution and Shipping Policy

Post by my3sons » Tue May 31, 2011 12:41 pm

Ladies - I realize everyone knows about the great savings you can get through HOD by getting HOD's packages, but the substitution policy is something new that makes it possible to get in on the package savings even if you own some of the books already. :D And - the new shipping policy makes it easy to save even more on our HOD order. These are both listed in the back of the catalog and are being added on the website, but here they are in case you haven't seen them yet...

Please help me... I am sorry if this is a dumb question. Do you mean for Rev. to Rev. we could substitute one book from Science, one book from basic, one book from extension and three books from economy. So in total I could substitute six books from a complete Rev. to Rev. order. I do understand the replacement book has to be same price of less. Please correct me if I am wrong. This is how I am understanding the policy.

This is extremely cool! :D

And I wish I'd realized this before I placed my RTR order a few weeks ago. I already had several of the books, so I just ordered the books all separately. Oh well--it's a great policy for next year! :)

Yes, this would be correct - 6 total things can be subbed in the Rev to Rev in the packages you mentioned! :D So if you had one of the science books (like "The Story of Inventions" for $9.99), then you could still take advantage of the $23.95 package savings and sub in something of equal or lesser value (like Singapore Math Textbook 5B for $9.90). Or if you had one of the History Read Alouds from the Basic Package already (like "In Search of Honor" for $8.99), then you could still take advantage of the $28.00 package savings and sub in something of equal or lesser value (like the "The Exciting World of Creative Writing" for $8.00). Or if you had one of the RevtoRev Economy Package resources (like the "What in the World CD" for $24.99), you can still take advantage of the $55.00 package savings and sub in something of equal or lesser value (like the "R & S English 6 Pupil Text" for $21.43). HTH! :D

aprilmd,

This is totally NOT a stupid question! I looked at the policy and totally did not read it the way you read it so thank you for laying it out and to Julie for responding! I am back to my "order drawing board".
