Want to see our yearbook with HOD

Post by amysconfections » Sat May 21, 2011 9:41 am

Here is a link to my bloghttp://perfectlycrazylife.blogspot.com/ ... rbook.html I could not figure out how to make it larger but you can see most of it. I am so glad I took the time to take pictures and make this. Now it doesn't feel like our year went by without anything happening. HOD made some great memorable moments with my kiddos.

That was so awesome. What a beautiful family you have. We are doing Beyond next year I can't wait! Your pictures got me even more excited. HOD makes homeschooling fun. :D You did a great job capturing your year.

Thanks ladies! I had so much fun putting together our yearbook. HOD's books that Julie made inspired me last year to do this. Mixbook was the easiest and cutest photo site I have used. They had stickers that you could use to make your pages cute! I couldn't believe how quick I could put it together. Beyond was fun and honestly I am just glad to have survived the year with a new, challenging baby  . The yearbook is a great way to remember all the good times. It made me pull out my camera and document things.

That's really nice!!! I've been wanting to do something like that as well but haven't got it done. I'm bad about remembering to take pictures, but hopefully I could come up with enough for the year. Yours turned out so nice that it encourages me to give it a try. Thanks for sharing! :D

Amy - your photobook was BEAUTIFUL! I loved seeing the pictures of all of your precious children smiling as they were doing their HOD stuff. The outdoor pictures were so lovely too, and I have to say I loved that big flower your tiny baby was sporting with her hot pink outfit! Too cute! This was such fun to look through. You really did such a neat job on this, and what a photogenic family you have (including you and your dh - I loved the family picture at the end). Thank you for sharing this here. It is an inspiration! :D

Just wanted to let you know that you inspired me! I went to mixbook and made one for our year. Then, I went so far as to have it printed by them. It is just BEAUTIFUL! And what an amazing memory it will be! I can't wait to do one each year. It will be our "yearbook" of sorts. :) Thank you for posting such a wonderful idea! It tied my year up with a big red bow (and put a lid on my "finish it" OCD)! LOL
