hi out there this is my first post and first time homeschooling! so i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on teaching 2 kids at a time. well really 3. here's my deal. 6 to be 7 yrold 1st grade and 8 to be 9 yrold 3rd grade. i will start in the fall. i am planning to use beyond for both but beefing up for my big boy. with mike's suggestion i will be using the left side of the page of beyond for both then using the right side of bigger for my big boy along with draw to the heart for him also. i have a 3 tobe 4 yrold that i will be using little hands with. we can't wait but not sure on scheduling for them all. anyone have any ideas?

I'd be glad to help!

We teach 3 HOD guides and enjoy our days very much. I like to use teaching blocks of time and rotate who I am with so everyone gets what they need. I just shared my schedule on the very last page of this link I'm going to give you here. It worked well for us last year, but there are many schedules from many different families on this thread. I bet you'll click with one of them!

Doing Beyond and LHTH will not be hard. I think you are going to have a super year! After you've checked out some of the schedules/routines, be sure to ask anymore questions you have here. We will all be glad to help you out!
In Christ,
Julie

thank you so much for your reply! this is such a great resource. no one one my side of the family has ever homeschooled before so it can be lonely and its nice to be able to bounce ideas and questions off of people who have done it!

sally525,
We're glad to have you here.

I agree it is wonderful to have such an encouraging, Christ-focused group of women with whom to share our homeschool journey. The great part is that the HOD Board is here 24 hours a day with ladies just waiting to help, guide, and encourage. We'll look forward to journeying with you!
Blessings,
Carrie
