We are now a HSing family!!!

I checked out of school today and we now can begin our homeschooling journey!!!! I have a "plan," of sorts, although I'm a planner and want to lay out the course a little bit.
I even went on homeedexpert.com and put in my preferences and HOD popped up! There were some others that are discussed on this board, but I was happy to find HOD as one of my reco's. That's confirmation, to me.
I'm a "wiggly Willy" and a "sociable Sue, while Girlie is a "competent Carl." All the way. Boy-O, age 2, is just like me.
Any advice for us, given that personality mix?
We are starting with LHTH, with math, phonics, and handwriting mixed in. I was talking to Girlie's teacher, and while she is not really keen on handwriting, she likes drawing. I wonder if there's a way to capitalize on her drawing to transition into writing. While she was at the caregiver's today, I threw an Alphabet workbook into her bag. She did all the mazes and none of the letters. I think she's advanced in reading and math, and behind (or on pace, just behind where I thought) in handwriting.
