Please pray for my son and daughter-in-law UPDATE

I found out only 8 days ago that I was going to be grandma again. Today my son called and said that he had his wife at the hospital. An ultrasound showed the baby was not living. She was going to have a miscarriage. A while later the doctor told them that the ultrasound showed twins. So, we have two babies with the Lord. Please pray for my son and daughter-in-law as they are dealing with this loss. They live 4 1/2 hours away, so it is hard for me not being there with them. They know the Lord is in control, but there will be some hard days emotionally.

I'm so sorry. I know this pain all too well, five times over. I'm sure she is exhausted physically and emotionally. I'll pray for God to comfort her and heal her quickly, and for peace and comfort for all those grieved by this loss.

Thank you all for your prayers. i don't know if she has actually passed them yet. After I posted this, I spoke to my son's mother-in-law. She said Elisabeth wanted to go home and let things happen naturally. The doctor agreed, because he said if he would do something, they would always wonder if he had been wrong. I think this is the best way to go, but it is tearing me up, thinking about them having to wait for this to happen. Please pray that they won't have to wait very long, if the babies are indeed without life. I didn't mention this before, but another miscarriage had taken place before these twins. That means there were 3 babies lost within 4 months. I know they are relying on God's strength. I just wish I could be there to help. I have a grandson, not 2 yet. I wish I could be there to help. Elisabeth's mother is even farther away. She and Elisabeth are both nurses, and she wishes so much that she could be there as well. I will update when I hear something. I appreciate all the prayer support.

Praying for them, too, Pam. It isn't easy...and you're right the waiting is the hardest part. We waited at least 3-4 weeks with one of our miscarriages and ended up needing a d&c eventually. I'm so thankful that we have the Lord as our comforter during times like this!!
