I have a 6th, 3rd, and 2nd grader doing Bigger.

May 16 ends our school year for this grade.

HOD works out so that it looks like this...
PK-Little Hands
K-Little Hearts
1st-Beyond Little...
2nd-Bigger
3rd-Preparing
4th- Ancient History
5th- Middle Ages, Renaissance, and Reformation
6th-Renaissance/Reformation to 1800's
7th-1800's to now
8th-I can use this year for TN History

and then plan for their High School credits

Obviously my 6th grader won't get this sequence, but if we do a faster run through of Bigger, then we can begin Preparing when it comes out and everyone goes through the cycle.
Does that make sense?

So, do we go quickly through, or start Preparing halfway through the year?

Hi Marsha,

I don't think you can go wrong either way. :D Personally, I just go until we finish and then start the next one, no matter when that is. It just depends on what makes "YOU" feel sane

I would just go through it how you normally would and then start the next one. I started off schedule and I found it just gave me more choices. But I agree with Mary, you have to just do what works with your head. :D
