DD finishing the ERS
My dd is on the last book of the ERS. I just need advice and opinions on where to go from here. She is not struggling at all is has done just fine. I want to keep her reading through the summer. Do you think I should just go through and have her read the other suggested titles that are found in the ERS? She's read some of them already, but we could hit the ones she hasn't. Another option would be to continue with the more short chapter books like Bears and Hemlock Mountain and The Courage of Sara Noble. What do you , ladies, think? Thanks for any info.

That sounds like a good plan to me, either the optional books or other similar chapter books. Another option might be to have her read through the level 2 book pack if you aren't planning to use it in the fall for DITHR.John'smom wrote:My dd is on the last book of the ERS. Re: DD finishing the ERS
I was going to suggest that too! If you wont' be starting DITHOR in the fall, I'd just use the Level 2 bookpack to read through but in order of reading level. Then when you start DITHOR, you'll be ready for the level 3 book pack!pjdobro wrote:. Re: DD finishing the ERS
Why not start DITHR now? My ds finished the ER's in March, and we just went right into DITHR 2/3 with the level 2 books. I had already added in many of the supplemental titles though to get us through the year. If you don't want to do the full DITHR reading through the level 2 books would be great too.
