I have it and will be starting sooner than later

I was going to start Bigger this fall but have decided to start next week. We are currently on break with our mix and match stuff. We are working on a world and US map and I can tie it in with Bigger. :) My husband is deployed and if we start on Monday we will be done with Bigger shortly before we move again and prepare for hubby's homecomming. Then we will be off the books for 2 months. I don't want to say not doing school because even if we don't use books my kids are still learning something. I have my binder ready and found a index card box to hold my 4x6 cards for vocab. My DD cannot write smal so the 3x5's won't do.

You know what I think, don't cha? I think it is like a Lay's potato chip when you can't eat just one! You get that HOD book in your hands and it is near impossible to NOT use it!!!!

Glad the timing will work out soooo good! And it will help to keep your mind off of the seperation to use such a great curriculum during this time.

Exactly!

I have LHFHG sitting on my nightstand so I can torture myself every evening as I read it and dream of beginning it!

Soon anyhow......................

MamaBear23Cubs, it sounds like "all of the planets are aligned" for you to begin with Bigger! Enjoy and let us know how it goes for you!

MamaBear23Cubs,

I think that sounds like a great idea! I actually did that with my oldest son when he had a MUCH needed switch about this time in his 3rd grade year (several years ago). It was wonderful to start something new and get in a rhythm with it before our summer break. He was excited, and so was I. The change gave new life to our schooling! Here's hoping the same will be true for you!

Blessings,
Carrie
