Very impressed with Science choice for new Rev 2 Rev program

We've received our box for the upcoming Rev to Rev set. The Education Exploration Physical Science it uses is impressive.
The box of supplies are neatly bagged by project and they aren't cheapo materials. Real wood, screws, electric components, etc. Not plastic/paper projects! I chose to get the Advanced level for my soon-to-be 8th grader so I can count the science component at least for his high school Physical Science credit. He is very physical science/phyics/engineering minded so getting this part of his schooling right was very important. I couldn't be happier. The lapbook will be challenging and will really make him think through the scientific process. I also liked that the teacher manual has the answers but also the WHY as to why a certain experiment should turn out a certain way and the theory that supports it. I have been frustrated with his life science this year as it was only answers and I couldn't always explain it when making corrections. Also, the projects are very practical and complete. My son will love every aspect of this program. So, just wanted to put that out there. Great science program for Rev to Rev!!
P.S. If you get this, don't throw away anything from the kit. There is a piece of paper that says you need to keep the box it all comes in because it is used in one of the experiments, and the online access code is on the sticker in the front. Also, there is a piece of cardboard that looks like part of the packing but that is also used so don't throw a thing away!
