I was looking at tommorows lesson and I see that we are making ribbons .Im trying to picture what should look like ..is a a rosette ?I dont suppose anyone has a picture of their finished one to show me-Im more of a visual learner

I don't have a picture, but when we did this, I just cut them out of postor board/cardstock because that was all I had. I think I might have used scissors that have jagged edges to make it look a little more fancy. I made them big enough for my sons to decorate, round at the top and then two straighter pieces coming out from the bottom of the round part. I had gold, silver and red glitter glue that they used to decorate them. They loved it, even though it was plain, and they hung them in their rooms. Hope you have fun with it,

i wasn't sure what to do for this and my son is the one who decided. i let him interpret how it should look. what he did was draw a ribbon on red constructin paper, like if someone was giving you a prize ribbon to pin on you. a circle with the 2 bows on top and 2 rectangular parts hanging down. can you picture this? i wish i had picture. He also wanted to add some blue glitter to that so we did. He was so proud and i was impressed with his creativity when i couldn't think of how it should look.

I made ours look like the ribbons that they have made into bumper stickers for different causes. (Not sure you'll know what I mean here! ) It looks like a single piece of ribbon crossed over itself toward the bottom. HTH!

This is what Nathan made today.Being the kind big brother he that he is,he made two.One for himself and one for his little brother.We found some ribbon -hopefully it doesnt look like the black ribbon .

I am with you on the visual learning thing! I just asked a similar question about week 9! Sometimes, I just have to SEE.

Yep...that is what ours looked like. We didn't have ribbon so we just made the whole thing out of paper. My son loved it and it really motivated him for several weeks to actually earn it himself!
