Just curious if it is normal for a message to stay in the outbox for awhile? It has been 3 hrs since I hit send. Did I do something wrong?

Yes it's normal, though I don't remember the reason...but you didn't do anything wrong

It will stay in there until the person "picks up" their message. Hope that makes sense.
