I have not had much time to write on the board this school year, but I am always checking in and reading about all the fun things all of you are up to. We are finishing our year with Preparing and LHTH and moving on up to CtoC and LHFHG. We are excited that next year will be our 3rd year with HOD!!! We love and appreciate it more and more each day.

I know that some others have chatted about the new "FREE SHIPPING" and "Book Substitution" option. I can't say how super helpful that is.

In the past I have bought all my HOD books separately for the exact reason Carrie implemented the sub policy. (I had one or two of the books listed in the pack.) Now with an opportunity to buy a pack of new books for almost $20-$40 discount, I am buying packages all the way this year. AND FREE SHIPPING!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!! Thank you Carrie for adding even more flexibility to HOD.

I still have to drop by the HOD booth at the Arlington Book Fair though. It just wouldn't seem right to miss it

Is the free shipping just for certain programs...If so is it available for bigger? Beth in Idaho

We are so excited to be using HOD again next year as well, & were also thrilled with the Free Shipping!!

I had been debating asking a friend to pick up the books for me at the MACHE conference in a couple weeks (since I won't be able to make it ), but when I saw that they would be shipped for free, it made my decision super easy!
So, on Monday afternoon, I hit the order button, & believe it or not, my package was on my doorstep yesterday (Tuesday) when we returned home from our daughters' ballet recital! I just couldn't imagine who had sent us a package, & was so shocked & happily surprised to see all of our books for next year at our house, less than 24 hours after I had ordered! I've been busily soaking them in (while hiding them from our children... I guess, eventually I will let them in on the excitement as well)!

What a blessing HOD continues to be for our family... so centered on Christ, & such wonderful customer service! Thank-you! Thank-you! Thank-you!!!

(In the new catalog it explains the new shipping policy- once you get to $300-$399, HOD pays 2/3 of your shipping cost... you only pay $10! And, once you get to $400- up, they pay all of your shipping cost! )

I am with you! It will be easy to have one less item to take to the "book check in" at our Arlington Book Fair. Hopefully it will help Carrie and Julie be able to help other customers with their orders at the HOD booth as well.

Super excited to have my HOD goodies before the book fair!!! I will be perusing my TG and ready to look for some fun odds and ends to put with.

Oh wow! I just got my new catalog and was highlighting all we needed. I was cringing over a few books we didn't need, and adding more on for shipping. I hadn't even seen the info on the last page until I read this thread.

It'll be a little bit before we place our next order, if I can hold off that is. I am use to purchasing now anyway, and not in the summer. Before vacation hits, I think I need to purchase anyway. It'll be harder on the wallet if I wait too long.
