OT -- Prayer Request for Trip to Thailand

Hello friends,

I would like to ask you for your prayers for me for an upcoming mission trip to Thailand. My trip is May 12-22, and I am going with a group of ladies to minister/reach out to the sex trafficked/sex trade victims (women/children). I am going with Adventures in Missions organization. Please keep me in prayer, especially during these dates, but even before as well. My husband is SO supportive of me going on this trip, yet my extended family (parents mainly :D ) are questioning me and are not supportive because I will be leaving my children and putting myself in "danger" when it isn't necessary. Oh, I could go on and on about this, but needless to say, it is something I would like for each of you to pray about. My husband and I desire to instill a heart of missions in our children by our example, and this is what we feel called to. (My husband is the one from Iran that you all prayed for last month! :wink: )

Anyway, please just pray as the Spirit leads you. Thank you so much!

I will certainly pray for you!! I have to write it down in my notebook so that I don't forget :).....I am just that self-centered that I will forget to pray for people. :) :) :)

what an awesome opportunity!! The women and children you will be ministering to have such a great need in our world, as human trafficking (sp?) has become an epidemic. I am so glad you get to do this!!!

May the Lord use this as an example to your childeren, as well as an opportunity that will only whet your appetite for missions.

May God's hand be upon you night and day, and may He prepare the hearts of the people you will be coming in contact with!! :) May they receive the lovingkindess that you are going to extend to them in Jesus' name.
