Hi,

I just wanted to thank you all for sharing with me you experiences with HOD on my post last week.
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=8781

Just wanted you to know that we have decided to take the plunge and use CTC next school year! I'll finish off what we are using here for the remainder of the school year (ten weeks and counting!) and then start up with CTC at the end of the summer.

Looking forward to getting to know you all more.

Lyn

Are you doing the CtC with your 15 yo? I think that's what I read. If so, I just wanted you to know that my 16 yo is doing it as well (beefed a little and she's moving quickly since she's older) but she LOVES it. It's really great.

That's great! We'll be beginning CtC in the fall with my 11 yr old dd. We both get more excited the more we look at the books!

My son is 15, almost 16, doing CtC beefed too and LOVING it too! I wish HOD had gotten started sooner, because his sister has used SL all the way through, graduating this year, and would have absolutely loved this too. I think I will have him do the rest of the guides through Modern 5 days a week to be able to do them all---and simply beefing it up with SL books. Compared to the rush of reading in SL, HOD is like savoring and eating a delicious cookie----one crumb at a time!

That's exactly how I feel, we're going to have her do as many as she can in the next couple of years! :) I'm grateful that I'm starting my youngers from the beginning.
