Just Curious!

Post by tnahid » Tue Apr 05, 2011 3:45 pm

Does anyone know about how many families are currently using the HOD curriculum? I was just curious about that and thought it would be neat to know! I was also thinking it is really neat that we are all kind of a part of the Heart of Dakota school with Carrie and Julie as our headmasters! LOL I really like the fact that they as well as everyone on this board give SO much guidance and counsel to others. What a ministry it is!

P.S. I know Carrie and Julie are not truly our headmasters...I know our husbands are our headmasters and the principals in the family...and ultimately our Shepherd Jesus is our Headmaster over all! Just want to make that statement so no one misunderstands me! But, it is still really awesome to have the guidance of these two phenomenal teachers!

LOL, I totally understand. I have spent hours on this board, researching Charlotte Mason, HOD, and all the options. The information available alone is priceless. In all the posts I have read, I can't remember reading a negative one. The encouragement and guidance is amazing. So many of the questions I have had, someone else has usually asked and had answered. So, on top of an amazing Bible-based curriculum that makes homeschooling feel like an adventure, the board is personable and encouraging. It's kind of like a support group without having to travel... and even better because most of the other ones on this site are using and truly love HOD. :D
