Beautiful Girlhood

Post by hobandrolly » Tue Apr 05, 2011 11:08 am

Good morning~

I see that Carrie uses this title eventually. If anyone has read it, may I ask if it would be understandable for a 9 year old girl? The age rec. on amazon.com says 9-12...would you agree with this? I can't seem to find a place to review the pages. Better to wait until closer to 12? We're searching for a book/devotion for my twin girls to do at night~more character building than Bible stories. Thank you in advance! ~Holly

My mom and I read this book during my childhood. It really is a gem. I was probably closer to the oldest recommended age but that is not to say it can't be understood by a younger child. I recall referring to it at later times as well. It is an easy to understand book and I would think that a nine year old could read and understand it. HTH
