Bible in multiple boxes

Post by deltagal » Mon Apr 04, 2011 8:30 am

Hi -

I've been trying to sort through this with my children for a while and am now seeking your input. My oldest son (14) does not enjoy reading the Bible. And then when there is Bible reading in other boxes he isn't too excited. Any suggestions?
With Joy!

Could you listen to the verses on Bible Gateway or some such? He could follow along. We have used and loved this, not with HOD but for family Bible time, and have loved it.

I would pray with him everyday. The Lord wants him to hunger for His Word.

Perhaps try a different translation?

Florence,

Is he reading from the Illustrated Family Bible scheduled as one of the options in CTC? If not, I would definitely get that for him. My boys loved that Bible, and its visual storylike quality with the historical sidebars is fascinating. :D My boys also love reading from their other Bibles, but this one was a favorite.

Blessings,
Carrie
