I was really nervous about using these, and how they'd work out for us, but I'm pleasantly surprised. I like how it's written like someone telling children a story.

I really like how the bigger words are hyphenated, so that the kids can see how they're pronounced.
I think I like Charlotte Mason and "living" books.

Daph,
I'm so glad to hear that your kiddos are enjoying these! Eggleston's stories were a huge hit at our house too! We learned so much as we read them (me included)!
Thanks for sharing!
Blessings,
Carrie

We really liked them as well. DD kept wanting more. It was a refreshing change to read a narrated story instead of a lot of dialogue too.

Loved... Loved.. Loved.. and now again Loving... Loving... Loving... Eggleston at our house!

My oldest ds raved about Eggleston, and now my middle ds does as well. In fact, my oldest is counting the days until Riley is finished with Bigger Hearts. I told Wyatt he couldn't read the Eggleston books while Riley and I are, as they are special to Riley's time spent in Bigger Hearts. Wyatt is really ready for Riley to be done.

I'm glad your dc are enjoying them too!
In Christ,
Julie
