Preparing Unit 25 Trenchers

Post by annaz » Mon Mar 28, 2011 11:41 am

How did you "stale up" :D your trenchers? Leave it out, put it in a paper bag? Does it matter? I mean I don't want to eat a dusty trencher.

Also, I have no baking powder. Substitutions? or go grab some from a neighbor?

As you see, I'm not a cook.

We left ours out on the counter. :D We all tried out trenchers...but went with the "feed them to the dogs" way of using them.

I have a cookbook here that says you can substitute 1/2 t cream of tartar and 1/4 t baking soda for 1 t baking powder. Not sure if that will help you.

We loved our feast...enjoy!

Did I write this response? We did the same thing. Our dogs sharpened their teeth and enjoyed them, but I do believe had we tried to eat them, we may have had multiple tooth fairy visits. :D The feast was a blast!
