Mystery of History and Science question.

I was looking at all the other guides and books, and I was wondering why Mystery of History III is the only one used with HOD. Why not I and II as well? BTW, I adore the use of the variety of books, as opposed to one text book for the year. I really want to get my hands on those Draw and Write books! Can I do school along with my daughters?

Also, I have a question about the Science that's used. I think I'm right in assuming it's Aplogea (sp?). Do these books teach the theory of evolution as well? I'd like to have a study at some point, with my daughter, on both evolution and Creation, and read what the Bible says about it as well. It's very difficult finding something that's neither extreme left or extreme right.

I know as far as Mystery of History goes Carrie had said that Vol. 3 is more living since it has the student reader and the other 2 volumes do not, so that is why she used it and not the other 2. The apologia books touch on evolution as far as talking about where some fallacies in the thinking are. I know from the Apologia books my ds does have an understanding of what evolution is.

Here's a past post that will help answer this...

Carrie explains why she chose MOH III but not MOH I or MOH II:
