I really just cannot think you all enough for the amazing advice and encouragement that you have all shared on the separating the kiddos issue. Our ds, soon to be 7, is such a special kiddo who has survived overwhelming odds (severe heart defects in infancy) and I often forget that he just needs a little more time than the others. Although he is advanced in math and is SO very logical and well spoken, he just needs more time to grow and gain maturity in other areas. I often push him academically and forget that just because he can hold a conversation like an adult doesn't mean he is ready to learn like one! You have all given me so much to pray about and to talk with my hubby about and I am truly thankful. I feel very blessed to be diving into HOD and even more blessed to know that wisdom from those that have been there and done that is just a click away!

I agree! I am so thankful for the ladies here who are so kind, welcoming, encourging and helpful! I have learned so much from reading all the posts.

This board makes me feel encouraged in my homeschooling and in my walk with the Lord every day. I "know" these ladies better than I know some people I see quite often face to face. This is a special place, with special ladies. I am so glad you have felt the same, and I have prayed for you as you ponder what's best for your precious ds!
