I had decided on Abeka math for my ds that "gets" math. Singapore looks really great though. I have a few used copies of other years in our store and I really like how new concepts are taught. Ds would be in level 2. Would the textbooks be necesarry or just the workbook? We would be using Beyond for him and I was wondering if that is scheduled in. I saw that it is in the Appendix but is it scheduled in like level 1 is with activities or it is literally working out of the book only? Thanks so much for the help!!

The Beyond guide has hands on scheduled for 1a/1b, but it has the textbook, and workbook scheduled in the back for 2a/2b. If you want the hands on for 2a/2b you need to get the Bigger guide.

Very cool. We plan on doing Bigger with our dd so I could use the hands on out of Bigger for ds doing Beyond. That would work well!!
