My DD will be starting R&S Grammar 5 in the fall. She will be using Preparing with extensions.

I was just figuring out how to schedule this, but realized that she would then have no review of adverbs, adjectives, punctuation, and prepositions if I only do half of the book next year.

How is it scheduleded in the later guides at half pace?

Preparing schedules all of Rod and Staff English 3 or all of Rod and Staff English 4.

CTC schedules the first half of Rod and Staff English 4 or first half of English 5.

RTR schedules the last half of Rod and Staff English 4 or last half of English 5.

Rev2Rev schedules all of Rod and Staff English 5 or the first half of English 6.

The Modern Times guides will schedule all of English 6 or the last half of English 6. In this way, all students will have completed English 6 by the time they complete the Modern Times guide. At HOD, we advise completing English 6 by the end of grade 8.

The Geography guide will schedule the first half of English 7.

The World History guide will schedule the last half of English 7.

The Early American History/Government guide will schedule the first half of English 8.

The Late American History/Economics/Personal Finance guide will schedule the last half of English 8. We will advise completing English 8 by the end of high school.

If you do need to be on a different schedule than what we have planned, Rod and Staff English is one of the easiest to open and do without any planning, as it is already divided into lessons for you each day! Hope that helps!
