My 6 yo who is in LHFHG has a nice manuscript hand. she still needs to look at a chart sometimes to remember what the letter looks like, but she does well. In the last couple of weeks she has shown a great deal of interest in cursive. Asking me how to write certain letters. Practicing in her free time. she's doing really well with it. Her signature is quite nice. We've completed manuscript instruction and simply been reviewing. Should we begin cursive instruction based on her interests or should we wait until Bigger? I don't anticipate we will begin BIgger until 2 years from now.

I don't think it would hurt to wait. As you know since you are using it with another child now, Beyond has manuscript practice in the form of copywork, and that will help her to master manuscript over the next school year without looking at a chart or asking. Then she can start fresh in Bigger with Cheerful Cursive.

Way to go little gal! :D I guess I think she could practice writing her name in cursive for fun, but other than that, I think I'd wait until she can easily write manuscript without ever having to look at a chart for assistance. That's just my 2 cents though - you will know best! :D
