Ladies, I met Carrie and Julie today at the MidSouth Homeschool Convention in Memphis. They are more sweet and genuine in person than they are on the board if that's possible. I can not tell you what an honor and blessing it was to spend time with them today. If I needed any more confirmation that HOD was the Lord's will for us I got it today. Carrie's heart is precious and she truly seeks the Lord's desire for their own family and each and every guide.

I want to encourage those of you that are not set on using HOD in your homeschool to really spend some time getting to know this curriculum and Carrie's heart in writing these guides. I think you will find that HOD is not like anything else out there. It truly is CHRIST centered.

If you ever have an opportunity to meet these beautiful women I highly recommend you do so! It was my privilege to do so myself today.

I'm so jealous! I live only about 10 minutes from the conference, but DH is out of town for work and I couldn't get anyone to babysit. I'm sure the conference was wonderful, though!

Aren't they both just the best?!?! I met them last April at GHEA in Atlanta and I agree with all you 110%!!!

That's great! We could really use a conference visit out west. So few of my hs friends have heard of HOD!

Amen to what Paige said! I saw the same thing this weekend. Those ladies are a blessing and their hearts are all about Jesus! Oh, and the curriculum is more wonderful in the coming years than I already thought it was going to be!

Thank you so much, ladies! We too feel it is a privilege to meet fellow moms using HOD. It is you who we think of when we are putting together books, catalogs, and book fairs - and I know Carrie thinks of you as she writes. Your stories touch our hearts, and are fresh in our minds. You are all a blessing to the two of us, and I am thankful we get to meet with you here on the message board, as well as face to face with those who can attend book fairs. However God crosses our paths, we are grateful. Thank you Paige for this post, and Edie as well - we were equally pleased to meet you!!!
