We received next year's HOD box in the mail this week and I honestly don't know who was more excited, me or the kids. My daughter ( who struggles with reading) couldn't wait to start reading The Littles. I couldn't tell her, " Sorry, you have to wait till next year to read that." So I guess I will just have to order another adventure book for her! No complaints from this mommy.

I can not put into words how "right" HOD is for our family. It is way more than just a curriculum. It is the tool that God is using to mold, train, and encourage our family on a daily basis.

We are truly looking forward to another year of HOD!

Totally agree! HOD is a huge blessing to our family!! Our stuff for next year should be here today or tomorrow - sooooo excited!!

Kirsten, how exciting! I know how you feel, because I get to order our next year's stuff soon, too, as soon as our tax refund gets here!!

We got our Preparing stuff this week too! We start on Monday. My son said the same thing about one of the read alouds. He said when can I read this? I said right now if you want to. I'll find another suitable read aloud for the book. He's been a reluctant reader so this thrilled me to no end.

I'm so happy to be back to HOD that I could scream it from the rooftops!

What a great testimony for HOD! I am so excited to get started on our HOD journey (and to open my box!). But, sigh, I'll have to wait until July for my turn. Thanks for encouraging those of us who are just getting started on our HOD adventure!

Oh, and I think there are sequels to the Littles books! You could use one of those for the adventure slot!

Ooh, makes me even more impatient to order ours Thanks for sharing your "box day"!

I already have Beyond for this fall, because I thought we were using it this year. After purchasing it, I decided to back up to LHFHG. Glad I did. I do look at Beyond once in a while and I am excited about what we will be doing next school year. It's HOD all the way!!
